Newcastle University has announced an open position for a Research Associate in Bioprinting Technology Development. The successful candidate will be working with a team of researchers on UK and EC-funded research projects and will be responsible for developing a bioprinting system based on reactive jet impingement, as well as fabrication equipment and related control systems.

The ideal candidate should have a PhD, Postdoc or be nearing completion in bioprinting, microfluidics, 3D printing for biomedical applications, bioengineering or biotechnology. They should also have experience in designing and controlling mechatronic systems and possess excellent time management and communication skills.
